i miss studying
as most of my year4 friends start to end their final exmas, and are facebook-statu-ing their happiness at ending exams and plotting schemes on how to celebrate this great achievement, i is feeling sad....why, you ask?
because, I GOT NOTHING TO CELEBRATE!!!
i used to look forward to e end of exams, cuz its e period of celebrations, celebratory-clubbing, celebratory-dinners, celebratory-sleep, celebratory-holidays etc etc.
but now, nothing to celebrate.
celebrate what?
celebrate my students ending their exams? i still have to mark the thousands of scripts! nth to celebrate!
celebrate holidaus? i still have to come back for holiday lessons and plan for the next semester! nth to celebrate!
celebrate my kids doing well in exmas? i still have to conduct lessons and go back to work the next day! nth to celebrate!<
damn pathetic man.
i miss studying.
yes yes, i know. there are other things i can celebrate now, that i couldn't before..
like..
promotions
buying a new car
friends getting married
eventually..myself getting married
and the list goes on...
but still, i miss studying
thankfully, next week, i will have a month-long of pseudo-schooling, back to NIE, back to not-so-early mornings, back to 3 or 4 day weeks, back to 2-4 hour school days, back to JEANS AND TEEs...FOR THE LAST TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
