Its my party and i'll laugh if i want to!
yayyy im 22! and the day started off with a BANG! actually it started from the eve!
went over to ganesh's house around 5pm for a gathering with Jin Cheng, Pearline, Joey, Sa, Chris and Daljit and we were like basically screaming and laughing his house down..poor gundumani (ganesh's dog)..hehehehe..
it was really hilarious with our intepretations of CSI/Ghost Whisperer/Supernatural/non-ghost scary stories and all the lesbian werewolves, hard like rubber skin, scary breeze, "kill the ghost with the gun la!" and all sorts of weird stuff that will only happen with these ppl..
its with these darlings that i laugh the most each time..hehehhe..and they got me a damn beautiful top from zara la! like woooo..so damn nice and very ME! and a pandan cake (which chris sat on) and a damn touching card (although im not 60!!!!)...and a special song by the manja kunjas...hehehehehe...
i love you guys and will always be your mummy!! muacks!!!
then i reached home at around 11 40 and at midnite, my mummy n sis were wishing and hugging me when mum handed me a present..i was opening up my present from mummy ( a seriously beautiful punjabi suit) when i heard knocks at the door..i was kinda anticipating it cuz my uncles and cousins have a habit of coming over at 12 midnight to suprise people on their birthday...
but when i opened the door i TRULY got a shock of my life!!!!
there they were, the loves of my lifes standing outside my door..with a cake and a huge camera flashing every 5 seconds!!!
oh gosh i just started laughing and laughing till there were tears in my eyes!!!!!! there they were, Vik, Miruna, Logais, Yoges, Vicky, Gayathri, Vicky, Karthik, Daljit and Pradeep..boy was i shocked!!!! i really did not expect it!!!!!!! esp since daljit and i had just parted ways below her block and she said she was going out with pradeep!!! even ganesh was in the plan (he claims he only let us leave so earli cuz of that) and the poor darlings were hiding all over my block when i was walking there..hehehehe..
but it was so sweet of them and the "cake" was even sweeter..hehehe..will upload pics when i get it :)

WOOOOHOOOOOOO im like so excited!!!! its only 1 hr 50 mins into my birthday and its turning into one of the best yet..
thanks to all my darlings who have made this day so special and thanks to those who have wished me..i really appreciate it.. i have learnt not to expect much of my birthdays after some disappointing episodes but this has set the bar so high i dun think i will ever get suprised..hahhaha..
never say never eh?
but the day is still young..and i have the first every bhajans in my house this evening...im quite looking forward to that..and miruna has some day planned for me which i hope she did not go to much trouble for....i can't even sleep now cuz im so excited!!! hehehehe...

Morning shock
i just had the most shocking thing happened...i had just come out of the shower and my maid was shouting at me to come out of the house to the corridor..
and when i went there...there was an elderly man who was lying at the bottom of the block!!!! and my maid told me he had "dropped" from above!!!!
oh my god and when i asked if she had called e police she just said that the wife is with him..
i grabbed my bag from yday (lucky never unpack) and ran down my stairs (while still buttoning my jeans and wearing my belt) and saw the most horrific sight to start the day...
i realised the wife was too distraught to have thought to call the police so i did so..and waited for the police to come..it was apparent that the man was no more and it was quite distraughtful to stare at his face so a hankerchief was used to cover his face...i really pity his wife as she was in shock and just kept shaking him and asking him to wake up...
then she started calling her children and screaming into the phone that their father had jumped down from e flat...
i think that was the worst..to have a mother tell her children that their father jumped to his death..and for the children to hear that from the mother...
then my neighbour from the 3rd floor told me that the wife had seen her husband set a stool and jump from there..oh my gosh.. imagine seeing yr husband die...argh...and he supposedly had no major problems to go to such a decision...i have a feeling he mite have been suffering from depression..
the police arrived rather soon but it seemed like ages to me cuz i was just standing there and staring...and when they came, they asked me a few questions, took down my details and said they'll call me if there's anything else (i highly doubt that)
i then had to take a cab down to driving in my morning glory attire cuz i was late...and when i came back 2 hrs later, the police were still there and the body was in a tentage, still being inspected i guess..
but wow, what a start to a day...sigh...may his soul rest in peace...
phew. its over...
its all over...
the weddings are OVER!
but suprisingly, i'm not sure if i should be relieved or sad...
i've grown so accustomed to seeing my darlings every single day and spending my days and nights with them, returning home only at 4 am or not even returning home..now i just feel so bored! i know im supposed to be resting to make up for my 2 weeks worth of lack of sleep..but..im just itching to go out and do SOMETHING..ANYTHING!! despite all the rushing, anger tantrums and fussing over the petty details, i miss it all..sobs..
i miss gayu and yoges so much!! siggh..gayu's leaving for her honeymoon tmr and i dun really wanna disturb yoges seeing how she just got married ydae..sobs..
oh wells, at least we'll be spending x'mas together!! :)
am now only gonna start enjpying my holidays..i have about 3 weeks left and am gonna make full use of them :)
tralalalla made alot of new friends and family over these 2 weddings..
all the new aunties and uncles, new cousins of my friends, and friends of these friends...
oh clubbing after gayu's wedding dinner was great though i had to leave by 4 as i was almost dying of exhaustion and had to be up at like 9 the next day...
and staying over at yoges's place during her bangle ceremony and decorating her room and car..
making friends with gayu's friends for her henna night and dancing together with them...
planning the wedding and dinner together with her friends..who were actually my cuzin lekshmi's friends..
rushing down to mustaffa at odd hours to get stuff we needed last minute..it is now my favourite shopping destination..
decorrating gayu's room and all the insane amount of rangolis i have done (6 so far!!)..
being part of yoges's and gayu's family and having delicious food forced down my throat..
being on first name basis with people i previously only knew as "so-and-so's father/mother/grandmother/grandfather/cousin/uncle/auntie/friend...
being ferried around in cars and taxis (im so used to it now!!)..
the wonderful hen's night which went perfectly (thanks u guys)..
all the rushed dressing up and tying of sarees in groups..

he putting of make up together and sharing all our make up..
haiks it was like one big carnival..one big fucking tiring carnival..
aniweis here's wishing my friends all the best in their new lifes together with their wonderful husbands..im so excited for you guys!!! and...STOP ASKING ME ABOUT MY MARRIAGE!!
